Product Description
Masataka Taketsuru founded Nikka’s second distillery in 1969 – Miyagikyo distillery. Using less peaty malt and distilled in a pot still heated by indirect steam, this soft and luxuriantly fragrant single malt has an elegant fruitiness and a distinctive aroma with a strong Sherry cask influence.
Taste: A great rich sherry nose and nicely balanced oak. Aromas of raisins, prunes, dates, cherries, dark chocolate and licorice. Gives a clean and long finishing of red fruits with touches of oak and earth.
